How to make a cocktail in a Moka pot—without a stove!

The Moka tradition meets the creative flair of mixology, brought to life by bartenders Barbara Ricco Crudelini and Fabio Ferrara—and by the botanicals of BUGIN gin, a spirit so aromatic and botanical, always ready to complement the wildest ideas.

Here is the perfect cocktail for an outdoor summer!

Curious to try it? All you need is an outdoor space and—ideally—a hot grill shared with family and friends. This is the perfect recipe to kick off your morning preparations or to round off lunch while relaxing in the afternoon.

What do you need for the "Negroni in a Moka"?

30 ml BUGIN Gin

30 ml Sweet Vermouth

30 ml Bitter Liqueur

Coffee: we used the "Mexico Crux Hazelnut-Chocolate-Almond" specialty coffee by Costadoro.

We ground it fresh for a fantastic 3-cup Moka pot from Pump My Moka.

Garnish: a citrus fruit from the neighbor's garden (properly grilled!) and a dusting of coffee.

Oh, and give it a try and let us know if the neighbors invited themselves to the barbecue after catching the aroma of this incredibly delicious cocktail!

The bartenders in action:

Barbara Ricco Crudelini: bartender, trainer, and creator of Overline Menu.

Fabio Ferrara: coffee and latte art trainer and founder of an event coffee catering service.

Give it a try yourself!
