Duck breast lacquered with Negroni BBQ sauce

Here is a simple and delicious recipe to make your duck breast unique: lacquer it with BUGIN's Italian barbecue sauce flavored with the Negroni cocktail and follow some cooking tricks!

Together with Italian chef Ilaria Vitale, use one of BUGIN's Cocktail BBQ sauces, the one flavored with the Negroni cocktail, to find, in your pan-fried salmon, the aromas and flavors of the cocktail with the most character of all!

First of all let's take the ingredients:

2 duck breasts;

salt and pepper to taste;

450 g of carrots;

2 teaspoons of grated fresh ginger;

180 ml of water;

50 g of butter.

Sprinkle salt and pepper over the duck breast so the water goes away and the skin is super crispy.

Cook the Negroni sauce for a few minutes.

Let's cook the duck breast: please, with a cold pan, therefore without having been heated before, and without oil!

Place the breasts skin side down on the pan. Then start cooking.

Once turned, lacquer them with the Negroni sauce using a brush.

The temperature at the core of the duck must be more or less than 50/55 degrees.

We finish cooking by putting them in the oven for 10/15 minutes. And voilà!

This is how you prepared an amazing duck breast lacquered with Negroni BBQ sauce!

Free of alcohol, preservatives and colourings, BUGIN's artisanal barbecue sauces are perfect for pairing with cuts of meat.
